[opencms-dev] workplace icon mapping

I am having a strange problem with my newly imported/setup OpenCMS 5.0.1
server. I have it installed but when I go to the workplace none of the
icons show up. They are missing part of the
url..."opencms/system/workplace" and have only:
/opencms/resources/ic_file_folder.gif 
The strange thing is everything else looks ok. The docs, login etc. The
directory /system/workplace/resources/ is in the workplace but I can't
find where or how it is being remapped.

any ideas?
