WG: [opencms-dev] Handbook recuruitment

Hi Paul & Jeff and everyone else

I will set up a main page today for the sourceforge project home page.
The way I have written the handbook so far is more as a checklist for
myself and internally for our company so that I don't forget how to set
up opencms for an initial site. (There are of course several ways of
doing this, and my way may not be the correct/best way according to
others... hence why I want the project to be public so as a mix of ideas
will come in and eventually the handbook should reflect the best
approaches. Anyways ...)

I am not sure how we are going to administer the project yet, maybe
using the CVS ... whereby everyone can upload there stuff and then
someone combines it into the main document at a given point (any
pointers, better ideas very welcome here).

Anything you can contribute would be more than welcome, but I will need
a couple of days to figure out exactly how the project is going to run.

All the best,

Mark

Mark,

Yes, Mark, I would like to help. I know a fair amount about
OpenCMS, especially its administration, because I have used OpenCMS 5.x
for
nearly a year and have been following the mailing list (and making
postings
hereto) since January, 2003. I also know a fair amount about Web
administration, Tomcat, Linux (including Debian), and MySQL.

With which tasks do you need help?

Sincerely,
Paul Bain
