[opencms-dev] Folder position in navigation not changing for subfolders

Hola again.

After the template- and other problems we're facing yet another weird
behaviour on OpenCMS 5.3.4 IX:
When changing (or defining) the position in navigation for folders like
/sites/default/Company/Item1 , /sites/default/Company/SomethingElse , the
change done doesn't affect the actual navigation, in fact it doesn't even
seem to get saved: When the navigation position is changed, the file does
get locked and marked as modified, but nothing else happens. When the Change
navigation is entered again, the changes made have already disappeared.
It seems that the navigation is forcibly and automatically ordered by the
name of the folders, using which might work as a workaround but isn't really
acceptable.

Any ideas, solutions?
