[opencms-dev] My online resources are not available

Hi Rainer,

Thank you very much for the hints. The problem was because I forgot to
publish my module where my templates and resources reside. Even though the
problem was somewhere else, I learned something about the static export
feature and this lead me to look for the problem in other system parts. I
have also decided to set the OpenCMS property staticexport.default.export to
"dynamic" because it suites my needs best.

Hope someone else can use this answer in the future because similar problems
listed in the mail archive did not provide any.

are the resources static ? Are you set the resource to export=true ? Look at
the logs, maby the export has cause an error. Try to set the resources to
export=dynamic. When you do this, try to acces the resources directly
(/opencms/opencmns/mysite/index.html).

Hi,

I have created a basic web site in OpenCMS and published the resources so
that they are available online, but I get an "The requested resource
(/opencms/export/mysite/index.html) is not available."-error from Tomcat
when I try to access site resources. This happens when I select a link
within the OpenCMS online project or when I try to enter the URL directly
into IE. Other online resources (not mine) such as the imported
alkacon-documentation are available.

I think that I probably do not correctly understand the concept of
publishing resources online. I could not find anything in the documentation
that mentions anything else besides the basics on publishing projects and
resources. What am I missing? Can someone help me solve this problem? I
would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
