[opencms-dev] FW: c:import (jstl) connection refused when importing external or internal url

Having done some more investigation, would it be a wiser idea to setup 
apache as a reverse proxy, and then specifying the proxy host and the port 
when starting up the JVM eg.

JAVA_OPTS -Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy.hostname.com -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080

???????????

Would this solve the problem, and be better than opening up extra ports on 
the server???

Any help much appreciated.
