Hi Jeffrey,
 
we created a solution based on OracleConnectionPool, you will find it attached including source.
You have to extract it to webapps/opencms/WEB-INF/classes and restart tomcat.
 
There is another solution from Daniel Wemhoff posted on 28.01.2004 based on Datasources to configure in tomcat, you can request it directly from him.

I am currently running opencms version 5.0 on a bea application server with an Oracle 9i database.  

 

Every few days it seems to hang.  Users cannot get the login page.

 

We currently have about 1000 files and 25 directories in opencms.  

 

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?
