Ok, Joachim. Let me see if I understand:

You suggest to create a CmsGroup where include a CmsUser in Forum Group and
User tables, respectively, where Forum User table is linked with OpenCms
User table. Is it?

in my opinion this should be integrated as Usergroup for Forum. so you
have to create a new CMSUser und create a link table from
mvnforum-Usertable to CmsUser-Table
so we do this for some of our modules ... we need the possibility to let
the Cms-Admin lock some functionality via CmsGroup.
