1. I am using mod_jk2, it configures easily and it should be faster than
mod_proxy.
But I am not sure how well it will fit with V6 and it's Site Management
capablities. Doing some investigation now.
2. I have both running on the same machine. But I don't see an issue if
they run on separate machines.
Regards,
Moris Mihailidis

Hi all!!
I have a machine with Apache and another machine with Tomcat ( and OpenCMS
).
1.- The best solution is using mod_proxy or mod_jk2 to connect them?
2.- Being in different machines, is possible to make Apache serving the
images, css... used in openCMS to improve the performance? The tutorial of
mod_proxy in www.opencms.org is about an Apache and a tomcat installing on
the same machine, but not in different machines.
Thank you very much !!
