Hmmm ... 're you sure, you made the binary correct?? If I start the 
opencms with the M$ IE  I got a warningmessage:

In german: "Die Versionen der Workplace-Templates und der 
Workplace-Klassen sind unterschiedlich. Bitte eins von Beiden updaten.
Workplace: 5.3.5 Ix
Classes: 6.0 alpha 1 Caladan"

In english (I tried the translation:) "The versions of 
workplace-templates and workplace-classes are different. Please update 
one of them.
Workplace: 5.3.5 Ix
Classes: 6.0 alpha 1 Caladan"

Any idea what that could be??
