[opencms-dev] Workspace installation stalls using Tomcat, Mysql on MDKLinux

  i am new with opencms, and i got already problems during the installation...
  it is exact the same problem as described in another mail to the list (copied below), but i have not found any answer :(
  any hint??

Installation of Opencms continues to stall at point of completing the 
workspace installation. Stalls regardless of browser: Safari, Netscape 
7.1, IE 5.2. Last workspace line displayed on stall varies  independent 
of browser: sometimes at 4300+, sometimes 4700+, sometimes 4863, 
sometimes 4840 -- never has the last line displayed reached 4900.

Running Tomcat 4.1.27, Mysql 4.0.16 and .17 on Macintosh Powerbook, 
running JVM 1.4.1_01 Opencms installed fine on Windows XP Pro running 
same Tomcat and Mysql versions.

CATALINA_OPTS set to "-Dfile.encoding=ISO-8859-1 -Xmx128M"

All parameters for installation were set to default for both Opencms 
and Mysql.

I have reviewed Tomcat and Mysql logs but nothing in logs indicates 
problems. No java exceptions occur -- except if I try to follow archive 
advice to attempt run_import.jsp page reload.

I have no idea what is happening and what I need to do to correct the 
problem.
