thanks
i did the same and it works fine but it throws a lot of errors on a VIP (virtual shared IP on a hardware load balanced) enviroment.
If i run the opencms using the individual IP's it works fine...
do i have do any changes in Tomcat?
regards,
Oliver

What I do:
install opencms on the first machine. Stop the application server. Copy the exploded opencms folder to the other machines, fire them up: voilĂ .
I also set up indexing as a scheduled job so that each machine rebuilds its own index every 30 minutes (it's quite a dynamic site).

Hi,
How do I configure 2 servers (opencms 6.0a) to use one MySQL database?
At the moment I am having problems with the second server when trying to load the workplace.
What are the steps involved?
Regards,
Oliver
