Got it! [opencms-dev] RV: Problems followingOpenCmsmanual tutorial

Hello Mauricio, Jorge,

it works now. Looking for the Xerces version the developers of OpenCMS must have successfully tested with, I noticed that under webapps\opencms\WEB-INF\lib there is a xerces-1_4_4.jar. Boldly I went where no man has gone before and deleted all the xerces jars out of /endorsed to force tomcat to use that one - and it works! So, the xerces libraries causing the root problem were not too old - they were too new (I see a TODO coming for those developers).
