Hi Andre,
We are currently developing a new website with 5.01, and we use
Hibernate2 in most of our web applications. I'm actually now working on
providing a Hibernate based application through the OpenCms based
website.
We have chosen to do this using a separate database from the OpenCMS one
to keep things tidy/maintainable. Then a jsp page in the OpenCms
website includes an in-line frame to the application URL (separate
context under Tomcat). We then make use of the same style sheet(s) to
keep things looking consistent.

Subject: [opencms-dev] Using Hibernate with opencms
Hello,
I'm using Opencms 5.01 and have to do objectrelational mapping for my
own modules. As this is quite complex, I'm wondering if there is an easy
way to integrate Hibernate into opencms.
Does anyone have any experience with that and if so - what are the basic
steps I have to take?
Thanks in advance.
Andre
