[opencms-dev] OC6 and 404 error handler

Hello,

    As i understood the publish "on-demand" feature is achived
by catching the 404 errors by the OpenCms servlet. As i have seen if a 
page is requested
that is not in the vfs like /opencms/opencms/blabla.html than the 
browser gets olny an empty page
rather than a 404 error. Is this possible to add or configure?
