[opencms-dev] Problem with too long pathnames on Windows (xmlcontent-demo)

Hello,

yesterday i encountered an error on my Windows 2003 box caused by a too long
path created by OpenCms. It seems that Windows 2003/2000 only support a
maximum path lengt of 255 characters. 

Especially the xmlcontent module has an extremly long path in the
file-system. Only the path inside the webapps directory -
"WEB-INF\packages\modules\org.opencms.frontend.templateone.xmlcontentdemo\sy
stem\modules\org.opencms.frontend.templateone.xmlcontentdemo\classes\org\ope
ncms\frontend\templateone\xmlcontentdemo\workplace_de.properties" - is 216
characters long wich may easily result in the error i encountred (Tomcat
throws a NullPointerException caused by a native error and deletes the
webapp). So better check this before installing a new OpenCms on a Windows
box.

Would it be possible to reduce the length of the path by renaming the module
or has somebody a better idea how to address this problem? Of course i can
install Tomcat in a directory "nearer" to the root but this is will not
prevent those problems in the future.
