Okay, maybe that is a bit of a clue.

I haven't been using the 'true' setting for a while, but from your  
experience it seems to be a problem in both cases. Then looking back,  
when I was using staticexport.default.export=true I did not have the  
problem. This suggest that enabling static export in combination with  
whatever updates I've done to the system have made the problem surface.

I've seen it happen on some quite different setups (as far as OS and  
webserver goes, but similar JVM), so I tend to think this may be  
related to the fact that the sites use tomcat 5.0.xx, rather than 4.xx.  
I am pretty sure back when I generally had static export enabled and  
didn't seem to have the problem, I was running on 4.xx. Maybe worth a  
try if the customer cannot ignore the error message.
