[opencms-dev] Does http://*IP Address*:8080/opencms/opencms work for browser install etc

Hi
 
Does anyone know if using a machine's remote IP address will work for the browser part of the system set-up? So instead of http://localhost:8080/opencms/opencms/ etc does http://*IP Address*:8080/opencms/opencms work?
 
I need this as I am installing on a remote server.
