With the feedback from the list and my own testing I think it is safe
to say that OC 5.0.x works with Java 1.4.2.
The problem I encountered was due to Tomcat 5.0.19 - updating to 5.0.25
solved the problem (where < and > got escaped to < and > by both
the WYSIWYG and source editors - which kind of rendered the HTML
unusable).
