[opencms-dev] HTML Area does not display < and >

Hi!

When entering the following text into a OpenCmsHtml field in the html area
editor (in HTML mode) ...

<pre>
    <tag>
        <name>contentload</name>
        <tag-class>org.opencms.jsp.CmsJspTagContentLoad</tag-class&
gt;
</pre>

... the > and < characters are somehow corrupted and transformed into
xml elements. The result does not look like it should do.

Is this an error or did I miss something?
