[opencms-dev] Error during installation

I also had this problem.  I used the older driver and the newer one but the only thing that worked was to go back to the version of MySQL that was recommended for the particular version of opencms.  If you find a combo that works for u with a newer version of MySQL please post the versions as the older version of MySQL is a problem with another part of my app and I'll try again.
