[opencms-dev] Installation hangs while importing workspace

After several installation attempts, I believe I am stuck due to a hang
while importing the workspace.  There are 3 things about my configuration
that are suspect: 1) Tomcat 5.5.7 generates a warning during installation 2)
I switched the JDBC to the latest from the MySQL website (I am using 5.x
version of MySQL), and 3) I changed the encoding to UTF-8 (for no other
reasons than I was unable to figure out how wo do this at the tomcat/JDK
level.  Any ideas or tests would be greatly appreciated.  I searched the
archive for any clues, but found none specific to my configuration.
