[opencms-dev] Keeping Authentication while Rewriting URLs

Hi,

i don't know if this is possible, but you could install opencms as the 
ROOT installation of the tomcat wich could have the same result as the 
emptySessionPath parameter (because of the missing webapp-prefix). The 
drawback is, that you can only install one instance per host. I don't 
know if this really works but you could give it a try. :) So far i only 
used mod_proxy and ROOT-webapp or mod_jk and tomcat 5.5.
