This is great.

Yes, Eclipse 3.0.x.

CVS HEAD

Patch files against the CVS HEAD would be great. You can create theses
pretty easily with Eclipse.

Whatever you think is the best one. I know nothing about what JDBC is
currently the best für MS SQL. Preferable would be one that is freely
available configured as default. Since the wizard allows for easy changing
of the driver, a more "mature" but commercial solution may then be used by
people who need it. I figure it won't be much difference for the work to be
done what JDBC driver is used.

Whenever you are ready. Certainly I expect nothing for 6.0 Beta 1 since this
is planned beginning next week.
> 6. also if You have code guidelines to follow, unit tests etc.
Sure. Almost all the unit tests in the /test/ subfolder are basically
testing the DB layer. So if you have all the default tests running, the
thing should be fine.
Just some 2 month back Antonnio Core contributed his work on the PostgreSQL
driver. If you don't mind check the archives for the emails about this (all
where on the list). It seemd this one went pretty smooth. I'll be busy
during the weekend (gues what: preparing the 6b1 release) so I'll be able to
spend more time on the project mid of next week or so.
Best Regards,
Alex.
