[opencms-dev] OpenCms 6.0 beta 1 released

Hi all,

OpenCms 6.0 beta 1 (aka 5.7.1) has been released and is available for
download from the http://www.opencms.org website. 

This beta 1 release contains enhanced examples and an updated version of the
Alkacon Documentation for 6.0. 

Also available is a first version of the "New Administration". The new GUI
for the Administration tools is still a work in progress, but this should
give you the idea of where we are heading. Of course, when all tools are
migrated in the end we will have only one Administration screen again.

In case you try out this 6.0 beta 1 release, please provide feedback
regarding the new Administration GUI and any other issues you encounter.

For a full list of features and open issue in this release, please see the
release notes that come with the download, or have a look at the OpenCms
homepage at http://www.opencms.org. 

Any help in developing the OpenCms 6.0 "final" version is greatly
appreciated. The more help we get the sooner we can expect a stable release.
