[opencms-dev] OpenCMS 6.0 : Is it possible to add a new (xml-)contenttype only by importing a module

Hello all, especially Alex and the rest of the developers!

I know how to add a new content type by changing some of the opencms
configuration files.

But I think there should be a way to achieve this by just importing a
module that comes with the appropriate type definitions.

I tried this by just editing some parts of the definitions in the
demo-module but that didn't work.

Can anyone of the developers please guide me the right way / clarify the
topic a bit?
