[opencms-dev] Property value in External Link / pointer

Hi,

To switch between  test & live  sites I'd like to be able to easily 
switch between the websites referenced in pointers. In my JSPs I can do 
this easily with the <cms:property name="useThisWebsite" file="search"/> 
tag but is there a way to also reference this in pointer type files 
(from link galleries)?

Eg I'd like to be able to enter something like 
${useThisWebsite}/registration.jsp in the Link URL field.
