[opencms-dev] How to implement the Counter Module in ver6?

Hi all

I want to use de.dynamicsources.opencms.modules.counter module in OpenCms6.

How to implement the Counter Module in ver6?

Create a table in the db  , use a JavaBean  and OpenCms pool  to save data.
and Add a new tool to administration-view

Or  use xmlcontent ,don't create table in db.

Which way is better? Is these better way to do this?
