[opencms-dev] Cannot login to workplace after setup

Is it possible it can be a problem with some files and folders that not
exist?
I found out that in the RC1 package I have there is not a folder
/WebContent/export/ and its subfolders and files, which was in an older
distribution.

Which role does the export folder play?

Best regards,
Dorothee

Dorothee,

and it works with DB2? It can't be!
I think your problem is more related to DB2 and not only to WSAS, as there
is no driver implemented for DB2.

Arash

Dorothee,

Websphere (WS) is currently not supported (I don't know why, I think WS
is j2ee certified ;-), I'm joking).
It would be nice, if you (ibm) could support Alkacon Software, to get it
working, as well with DB2!

With which DB are you trying to install?

Br,
Arash

Subject: [opencms-dev] Cannot login to workplace after setup

I have done an OpenCms setup. The only error messages I have got were:
"Indexing folder /system/ failed: Error reading content of folder
/system/ (child resources). Agrument getFolders was: true, argument
getFiles was: true" "Indexing folder /sites/default/ failed: Error
reading content of folder /sites/default/ (child resources). Agrument
getFolders was: true, argument getFiles was: true"

When I call the URL /opencms/opencms/system/login/ I got the error
message "Error 500: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
org.opencms.main.CmsException: method
<init>(Ljava/lang/String:ILjava/lang/Trhowable;)V not found" instead of
the login dialog. When I looked in the file system I found in the folder
/WEB-INF/jsp/online/ only the folders /sites/default/ and
/system/modules/ but not /system/workplace/.

CMS: OpenCms, version 6.0 RC 1 Corrin
Application server: Websphere Application Server 5.1.1.4

Best regards,
Dorothee Wiethoff
