I can only tell you how to do it in OpenCMS 5, then you could try it out
yourself. OpenCMS 5 does not implement Lucene.
Would that help you?
The CronIndexManager is not an implementation of OpenCMS but a class
provided by net.grcomputing.
So you can use it in 6 also, if you install the module.
Or write your own indexer and searcher. It is not difficult.

OpenCMS 6 also uses net.grcomputing.opencms.search.lucene.CronIndexManager
to create index?
It already does not have integrated Lucene?
How I make cron of index in OpenCMS 6?

Hi,
I use this in the scheduler to rebuild every night
@ 4:32am (all on one line)
32 4 * * * admin Administrators
net.grcomputing.opencms.search.lucene.CronIndexManager createIndex=true
If there is a way to trigger an index on publish, I don't know about it.
regards,
Steve
