[opencms-dev] file type and scheduling an update process

hi,

i want to create a new resource when a someone clicks
on on a button of my webpage.

the cms.createResource(filename, filetype);

requires a filetype which is supposed to be an
integer.

where can i find which integer is referring to which
filetype.

would like to create a new html document.

and then i have another question.
how can i use the scheduler. is there a already bulit
in solution that i can use to send emails in a in a
regular period checking files before if they were
updated or not?
