He means without the "driver" package name in the full classname.
i.e.
    oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
instead of
    oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

Also make sure the Oracle JDBC .jar is in your application server's
classpath, either classes12.zip or ojdbc14.jar
