[opencms-dev] Properties and breadcrumb-navigation

Hello,
I have problems concerning

1.) the properties:
how can I declare a property I defined in the 'properties->advanced->define'
Dialog to be inherited from the first folder I set a value in?
e.g. I have a 'folder1' with the property 'image_left' and need all
pages/folders created inside it to inherit the value I set in the folder1
for image_left.

2.) I needed a breadcrumb-path like 'Home >> folder1 >> folder1_2 >>
site1_2_1' to show where the user is at the moment.
I managed to get it working using the 'getNavigationBreadCrumb(in
startlevel, int endlevel)' but as this is not the perfect way I would like
to give it the start-folder and then define the number of levels to go down
from there.
Any hints how to get this working?

...by the way, as many in the mailing-list already tried to figure out, I
would also appreciate to know how to define the 'new page' dialog properties
on a module/template basis as it is perfectly done in templateone!
