[opencms-dev] Need help in removing XML content!!

I initially imported all my html pages, using the EXTENDED HTML IMPORT, and 
I did not use any template for them. But when I did my static export, they 
all came out with XML content.
 I need to have them exported the same way they were initially. Is there 
such a way ?
