Hello list,

I try to figure out if it is possible to automatically set default
properties for new (xmlcontent) filetypes. Therefore I tried the
following tags in my <type> definition in opencms-vfs.xml:

<properties>
  <property>
    <name>template-elements</name>
    <value><![CDATA[test]]></value>
  </property>
</properties>

The result is a crash of opencms:
org.opencms.main.CmsInitException: Critical error during OpenCms
initialization: Unable to read the OpenCms XML configuration.
	at
org.opencms.main.OpenCmsCore.getInstance(OpenCmsCore.java:268)

The same mechanism is used for jsp files. Isn't it possible to
set default properties for new xml content filetypes?
