[opencms-dev] module mechanism

I install OpenCMS 6, and everything looks good. The documentation is
impressive, a workspace GUI too. 
 
I am interested for creation new module which have to includes some JSPs,
jars, and someone util classes. Also my module need to extend or create new
MySQL DB
 
I have 2 questions:
 
1.	There are not enough support for the module development methodology
in the documentation (pdf, and interaction documentation). Therefore it
isn't clear how to develope new module
*         create new module from scratch, or
*         create new project, and save this through the DB tools as the new
module
*         Something else
What is the right way?
 
2.	I develop the web app by using Borland JBuilderX. The OpenCMS
haven't Debuginig tools, and I have idea to use its' open source to include
in the JBuilder project (for the clearly monitoring the system processes,
easy to use API - through the intellisense, .). 
Is it possible and what is the general module develop approach in OpenCMS?
