[opencms-dev] fire event on object creation

Hi all,

I'm new to OpenCMS. I'm working by some day to create
custom objects using the Xml Structured Content feature in
OpenCMS 6.

My problem is not only to create a new object (using for example
the direct edit feature for a "News" or a "Custom Object"), but also to
send this newly created object to a list of subscribers (a newsletter-type
service for example).

I need to handle this type of events (object creation, deletion,
modification etc...).
Eventually, because I'm a Java developer, i can also write some
code, but I wish to know how can i start my hacking (classes,
interfaces or other resources in OpenCMS environment)
