[opencms-dev] can I integrate websphere portal with opencms

my senario is :
websphere portal runs on a standalone computer with is different from opencms
I want to create a portlet in portal that can access opencms through api,the portlet can also do paging if multiple records are found
I just use opencms to manage the creation,updation and deletion for maintainance,I show the content in portlet

My question is :

Is it possible to do this?have anyone else tried this?thanks a lot
