Not sure, but I can remember that somebody is going to integrate
FCKeditor, which is the most mature open source WYSIWYG editor which I
know about it.

I understand that someone is at and advanced stage of integrating a new
HTML editor into OpenCms. Unfortunately I cannot find the post right now
(someone from gmx.de?)  The existing HTMLArea editor leaves a lot to be
desired in my opinion. It's also not being actively developed any
longer.

If you plan to making changes to the editor, it might be worth waiting
for this development.

Anyone out there want to comment on an ETA for this? It's very important
I think. Almost all of my users of OpenCms have commented on the
weakness of the WYSIWYG editor.
