[opencms-dev] Can not un-expire pages after upgrading to 6.0.2

In OpenCms 6.0.0, our writers were accustomed to 'un'-expiring pages 
that were expired by using "touch" and then deleting the value in the 
expire by field.  Now (after the Upgrade) they can no longer do this.  
The value remains the same.

Other than setting the expire date to several years in the future, how 
can the pages be un-expired again (no expiration date)?
