The Lucene Standard Analyzer is great for Chinese.

 

We have a Chinese workplace module. I’ll update it to 6.0.2 soon. Of
course, I’ll send it to the list.

many thanks, you are great :-)

 

I think Italian, Spanisch and French is no porblem too, they are almost the
same as german and english, I mean the characters, the same is with persian
and arabic, persian has even 4 more characters. But the main thing / problem
would araise with the search engine analyzer(s),  I found the
gpl.pierrick.brihaye.aramorph.lucene.ArabicStemAnalyzer, but it has some
problems, anyway I'll work on this issue.

 

By the way I've began with the translation of the Workplace for persian and
I hope it would be finished till 6.2 version, if any native persian guys are
willing to help with the translation and search eingine optimization (more
important),  their help is more than welcome and very appreciated :-)

 

Shi does the search engine work for chinese, is there any Workplace
translation available?

 

Till now I didn't saw any nice russian, polish or arabic girls on this list
;-)

Hi,

 

I'm going to setup an OpenCms Multilanguage / Multisite Installation for
Demonstarting the strength of OpenCms in these areas and promote this great
system.

I've allready managed to setup the sites for German, English and Persian
languages, now I would like to extend them with the following languages and
as I can't read Chinese for example, I can't find any related articles about
OpenCms in Chinese :-)

 

Which of you nice guys, would be able / willing to work with me on this
issue, specially for:

 

Chinese, 

Russian, 

Spanish, 

French, 

Italian, 

Arabic 

 

languages. Other languages are more than welcome!
