Hello Bernd and Arash,

there was indeed a logout/login necessary to make the sync-button appear. 
The problem is already fixed in the current CVS HEAD.

Well Arash, I know how I did it :-)

Make the synchronisation settings, exit the workplace and log in again.
Voila 
there is the synchronize button.

Seems, that the settings are not properly available for the currently loged
in 
user making the synchronisation settings and first loaded after a new log
in.
