Probably you are using MySQL but its max_allowed_packet parameter is set to
1MB and this value is not enough to transfer constant-values.html through a
single SQL statement.
So you have to adjust this setting for MySQL by modifing the mysql.conf file
adding the line:

set-variable=max_allowed_packet=8M

to increase the size to 8 MB (it should be enough).

I received the following error in during the installation of the new
FCKeditor module version 1.0.1, and was hoping someone might be able to
help me out:

I am using the following setup if that helps:

OpenCms 6.0.3 (clean install, default (all?) modules installed)
Tomcat 5.0.30
JDK 1.4.2
FreeBSD 5.3
