Hello Joao,

    I think You should try the MS-SQL driver already implemented for 
opencms, see:
http://www.opencms.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=935
and the jtds driver:
http://jtds.sourceforge.net/
    You could than try to install the MS-SQL solution with Sybase as far 
as I know 
mssql and sybase are pretty close as DBs.
