[opencms-dev] Permissions question

View is an "optional" permission. It is used in the workplace, to hide
folders that some groups should not see (because to many folders may be
confusing).

If "view" is used or not depends on the selected resource filter. So you may
also use it for your web application in some creative way.

Kind Regards,
Alex.

Subject: [opencms-dev] Permissions question

What is the difference in the permissions between 'Read' and 'View'? It
seems that if I deny either of them then the piece of content or the folder
cannot be seen? This is on 6.0.2

Thanks,

Joel
