[opencms-dev] problem with image publish and export

hello everybody

i've got a brand new OpenCms 6.0.4
i've deployed the war in webapps dir (Tomcat 5.5.9) and i've run the
setup from another machine (no http://localhost/opencms/setup/).

after the setup i've uploaded in opencms vfs root  a jpg file, and published it.
in offline, if i click the file i see the image.
in online, if i click the file it points to
http://localhost:8080/opencms/export/sites/default/image.jpg and, of
course, it is wrong

strangely, image.jpg appears on my real file system only when I click
it (tomcat\webapps\opencms\export\sites\default\)
not when i publish it

could someone explain why ?
