[opencms-dev] links and images from gallaries in XML content

Is it possible to allow content editors to add images and links from
galleries within a widget that supports HTML in an XML content type, a
faq article for example.  That is, Faq->Description_paragraph->Text
supports HTML and  is editable via the HTML editor, can I add the
ability to insert links and images from the galleries to this control?

I've seen references to the following workaround in the list archives,
http://blogs.cofa.unsw.edu.au/blog/tanepotaka/, but this doesn't appear
to work for 6.2beta.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
