[opencms-dev] New property not string

I’m new user of OpenCms 6.2 beta. 
 
- I have created new properties, but always they are of type string. I
believe that I have to modify the property.jsp inside the directory
dialogs of the templateone, but I do not know like do it. Can someone
give an example?
 
- Native image scaling and manipulation: How? I tried the module
ImageOps for it, but I’d like to do it native.
 
I wrote in the mailing list of OpenCms few days, but nobody answered me.
