[opencms-dev] OpenCms version 6.2.0 has been released

Dear OpenCms users,
version 6.2.0 (stable) of OpenCms is now available for download from the
OpenCms website http://www.opencms.org.
The new version was developed by Alkacon Software GmbH
(http://www.alkacon.com) with the support of an international OpenCms
developer community.
OpenCms 6.2.0 adds several useful features to OpenCms 6.0 such as:
* Multiple selections and operations in the Workplace Explorer
* Native image scaling and manipulation
* Visual ("diff" like) comparison of document versions
* Integration of the popular FCKeditor for WYSIWYG editing
* Improved XML content editor with options to re-sort content and more
widgets
* New, optional "Photo album" and "Pattern page" content types
* Much improved search index admininstation interface
* More options for generating accessible website content
* Imroved PostgeSQL support (thanks to Ivan Codarin)
* Added database support for MySQL 5 and Oracle 10

To upgrade an existing OpenCms 6 installation to the new 6.2.0 release, an
easy to use upgrade wizard is provided. This wizard will upgrade version
6.0.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.0.3, 6.0.4 and 6.2 beta to 6.2.0 almost
automatically.
