Hi Ashok

If you have a red hat linux (or clone) check the "alternatives"
configuration. There are soft links under folder /etc/alternatives/

These links are updated when you install a java bundle, but if you copy the
new java to a folder, you have to modify the JAVA_HOME and the
"alternatives" link to point to your java version.
