[opencms-dev] shift-click under Linux

I have set up opencms 6.2 on one site under debian Linux and when I
connect to that site from another linux system (Redhat 7.3, Gnome desktop)
I cannot use the Shift-leftmouseclick mechanism to utilize the
new 6.2 feature of doing a multi-selection.

Does this work only under Windows?
